Fall is here! Sort of...not sure when it officially starts 

but I can get away with wearing sweaters and not melting.

I love the way the colors mix with each other. I was worried the camel might clash with the black snakeskin but it came out great and the camel really gives it that Fall feel. Days like this when an idea pops into your head and it works... they're magical, haha

With Labor Day just have passing and me going back to school I guess it's time to say goodbye to summer. I'm just glad I have a tan to take with me into winter!

Luckily for me I guess my favorite band came into town the day before I was set to start classes. So my official to summer looked like this...

Concerts are my happy place. I turn into such a dancing queen hahha 

so comfort is a big thing for me!  

The venue had a strict small or clear bag policy, last time I took a travel bag from Sephora but I needed pockets! I got this bag as a gift and was determined to use it at least once hahha so here is my attempt. I think I'm going to try again and let you guys know how that goes.

 Seen in my last post "Back to It" this black leather 

wrap bracelet has been glued to my wrist this summer. 

It's simple and goes with practically everything. 

But the best part of all, its so me! haha 

I handpicked the color leather, obviously it had to be black, the style of the silver case, and each of the charms. The cross for my Faith in God, the plane is a reminder of my plans to travel the world, a camera to represent my love of taking pictures for you guys! and the mermaid...well because I am a mermaid.

It's nice to have a piece of everyday jewelry that 

is unique and personalized.

Back to it

Back to It

I know its been awhile but work is consuming my life currently but it feels sooo good to get back to blogging I forget 

how much fun I have writing the post and taking pictures. 

This was a look that popped into my head in the middle of the night so I jotted it down in my phone so I wouldn't forget. I ended up wearing it the next day to church. 

A variation of this would be a cute back to school outfit. Pair it with something closed toed and chunky to give it a more casual feel or something strappy if you wanna spruce it up.

I spent the past weekend in the quiet and serene countryside of Pennsylvania. My aunt has a cabin there so we spent our night by the fire and our days exploring the near by towns. Day one was Lititz!

It's a small town with lots of touristy things to do. If you have ever been to New Hope, this was pretty much the same.  

We walked around to admire the town's charm and stumbled upon a chocolate factory (they had chocolate samples that were to die for!) which is also the background for a few of my pictures. 

Inside the factory was part store and part museum. I had to keep myself in check and not buy everything. I didn't even get the coffee chocolate bars so needless to say I was very proud of myself. 

I did wear the shorts I have been constantly talking about haha 

but I couldn't help it they were comfy enough to wear during a long car ride but also looked polished enough to go out with.

(Which is why I love them!)

After spotting out a few restaurants we ended up at the Tomato Pie Cafe.  I tried to get pictures of the food but the lighting 

was weird and I was starving. I will say that the food was great and it along with the atmosphere was eclectic. My sister got this 

blueberry lemonade soda that I'm still dreaming about.

Due to sever heat outside and polar like cold inside 

(ALL my classes have the AC on full blast!) 

I have to carefully plan at my outfits when I have class.

Hence my wearing a jacket when it's 85°.

I originally planned on wearing a flowy white tank top with this but it needed ironing and I was already late. Instead a went for this floral top and I like the way it works with the shorts.

The shorts have a sporty look to them, the side has a 

retro basketball shorts feel. They're mesh like with a leather texture. An unexpected pair like that and I'm all in. 

I spotted these in PacSun last year while on a day trip and I had to have them. There are just so many ways to style them.( I may to a post on that bc I really like them!

To keep warm I added this green jacket I've had for awhile. I got it on sale at Target.

It's light weight enough that I wasn't too hot outside and I think it really ties the outfit together nicely.

The bag is just the one I'm currently using bc it is big enough to hold my usual purse thins and school stuff. but i like how it compliments my shirt and jacket.

Finally, for shoes my trusty, go-to, beat up Converse. Plus I couldn't pass up a chance to wear them with my "retro leather basketball shorts".
